Kristi Ried-Barton, E-RYT 500, Life Coach,  Amrit Method Yoga Therapy Counselor,  Certified Natural Health Professional,  Reiki III Master and  Director of It's Yoga! Studio™. As Life Coach and Registered Yoga Trainer with Yoga Alliance, she has been teaching yoga on a daily basis to students and clients in Upstate South Carolina since 1991. Kristi combines the methods of Yoga Masters, Amrit Desai, T.K.V. Desikachar, and B.K.S. Iyengar  as well as restorative and therapeutic.


She teaches classes and personal sessions from beginners through advanced levels, pregnancy, retreats, and teacher training classes.  Kristi has classes and workshops throughout the Upstate, through corporations and through the hospitals, clinics and physical therapists working with cancer, cardiac rehabilitation, multiple sclerosis and therapeutic needs.

Yogi Sharma,  Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Instructor, E-200

Yogi grew up in India, where he learned and did Yoga off and on for many years. In 2005 he switched to a gym, after jogging was not a good option for the knees. Joining Dharma Yoga Studios for regular practice in 2009 he started teaching a Yoga class associated with "Art of Living" group in Greenville. Yogi completed the 200 hour teacher training through Dharma Yoga Studios. He teaches yoga in a style that is both creative and healing, making the practice fun and playful.  Yogi believes mental, physical and spiritual advancement is available through yoga practice.

 

Karin Newsome, RYT200

Karin Newsome is a certified Yoga instructor through the Temple of Kriya Yoga, with further training in Vinyasa Yoga and Therapeutic/Restorative Yoga. She focuses on form, alignment and breath.  She is certified as well in the art of playing quartz Crystal Bowls, called sound therapy, known for creating resonance, deep relaxation and inner space in the body/mind connection.

Originally from Chicago, her background includes dance, gymnastics and aerobics.  In her classes she gently encourages and motivates each student, offering wisdom and knowledge of yoga while motivating the students to strive toward good health, mentally, emotionally and physically.  As an instructor, Karin helps students find the benefits of yoga as a method to enrich life and uplift the spirit.  

 

Linda Albronda, Tri-Pura Integral Yoga Instructor

Linda found a love of yoga when she began learning the breath and poses from her Italian born mother at the age of 9 years old and has continued the practice since. Her 200 hour certification from Tri-Pura Yoga advanced her knowledge, guiding her toward the healing aspect of yoga. Her classes deliver a flow of poses enabling the body and mind to explore awareness, increase capability and have an appreciation for the connection to inner peace. Linda delivers a challenging yet calming and mindful class, allowing the students to have a unique appreciation of the benefits they feel from releasing stresses of daily life.
