Classes


Therapeutic Class:  We give extra attention to release the body and mind of tension, discomfort and pain.  We guide you through poses and breathing to assist you on your journey of health and healing. The classes are structured around themes such as: shoulders, lower back, feet or pelvic floor. The theme changes every three weeks, allowing your practice to go deeper with the same theme while working different areas of the body. We go through common aches and tightness, arthritis, recovering from surgery, spine and neck issues, sciatica, wrist and hand problems.  With consistent practice you can decrease pain, increase strength and range of motion. Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 11am.

Pre-natal Class: Yoga is an ideal way to stay in shape during your pregnancy. With yoga poses specific for the mother-to-be, you will be more limber, have toned muscles, improve your balance and expand circulation.  We teach you how to breathe deeply and relax, preparing you for the physical demands of labor, birth and motherhood.  With our sequence of poses and breath you will find that your sleep improves, anxiety is reduced, endurance of your muscles and flexibility is increased and your body is ready for labor and delivery. Class Package of 5 classes for only $75.

Life Coach Sessions:  Yoga was originally taught with one teacher and one student. There are numerous reasons in today’s world to begin a practice in this tradition.  Invite happiness into your daily journey. Appointments available Monday-Saturday, as early as 8am until 7pm.

Yoga Nidra Meditation:  Yoga Nidra is a sleep-based meditation designed to remove mental and emotional disturbance and rejuvenate the body. Yoga Nidra can be used for medical, restorative and spiritual benefits. As part of each of our classes, we soothe jangled minds and bodies. With the start of the class feel the relaxation of the breath, focusing on an intention and releasing a portion of your day beyond the Studio doors.  Resting on your yoga mat as in Savasana allows the meditation to continue with you through the unfolding of the day.  Join us for Yoga Nidra Meditation and enjoy the lasting benefits of calmness. 

Nutrition Sessions: We begin with your nutrition background and your lifestyle to create a plan that serves your unique needs. We coach you on sustainable weight management, anxiety and depression, reducing inflammation, cardiovascular health, low energy and fatigue, hormone balancing, sugar addiction and others. Call 864-354-2882 or email: Kristi@itsyogastudio.com for appointments.

Restorative Class: Guide yourself toward a more healthy state of being through restorative practice. Rebuild and heal the body while calming the nervous system. The instructor will bring the mind and body into relaxation, meditation and Yoga Nidra while slowly and mindfully practicing poses. Experience the release while laying on the mat in most of the poses. The focus is on creating more receptivity through deep stretches while releasing muscular and inner tension. You will melt into the support of blankets, blocks and bolsters to support the body in the poses.  Explore what happens when you slowly release your habitual way of holding onto tightness and tension.

Reiki Sessions: Set a personal appointment to have a session with this ancient Japanese technique for stress reduction which promotes healing. Reiki treats the body, emotions, mind and spirit creating relaxation, feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. This can be included with the LifeCoach sessions.  We also offer Reiki certification workshops throughout the year.

 

 

 

Corporate Classes: At our location or in your facility, have our instructors tailor yoga classes to your goals of health, physical fitness and strength training.  We can guide your group in toning the muscles and maintain a balanced weight for healthy aging. Suitable for beginners through experienced practitioners.

In-Depth Study of Yoga/It’s Yoga! Studio™ Teacher Training Institute: Do you have a desire to learn more about yoga?  Not sure if you want to become a teacher?  Whether you have never been on a yoga mat or have been practicing awhile, attending our program is inspiring, empowering and very rewarding for your life journey.  The yoga education you receive with us will deepen your personal practice as you embody the teachings of yoga, as well as be able to skillfully teach a beginner level yoga class.

Yoga Retreats: Be a part of our annual Yoga Retreat at Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort and Spa outside of Santa Fe in New Mexico! It is the perfect way to unplug from familiar surroundings, busy schedules and daily responsibilities.  Practice yoga, go hiking, enjoy healthy foods, have time to soak in the spring fed mineral hot pools and relax while gazing at the breathtaking colors of the surrounding hills.
